FOREST TYLER DRESS

The armpits again on this dress were way too high. I also found that when the dress is reversed in one direction, the slit hangs very strangely, like it was sewn wrong, and it made me fixate on it. Overall wasn't a flattering fit for me, which is a shame because I love the concept of this! I'm glad to see in the reviews that it is working for others.

This dress arrived today and it’s my first ever Free Label purchase, despite following them for a while. The fabric is dreamy and I love how versatile it is. Planning to wear it with the high neck and tied in the front with heels to an August wedding but also just dressed down with sneakers or sandals throughout the summer. Will probably layer it with tights and a long sleeve shirt in the winter. Seriously so obsessed!

This is the most amazing fabric! So comfortable and feels “dressy” while also being effortless at the same time. I can see with dress with a denim jacket all spring and summer. Would love to see some more dress styles in the future! My only critiques are that I can’t wear the high neck option comfortably without feeling choked, but thankfully it’s reversible and I prefer the low neckline. I also did have to seriously think about sending back because I think the arm holes are slightly snug and I know deodorant will rub… but ultimately this luxurious fabric won me over and I know this will be worn a lot.

I was skeptical about buying this dress because I think I like the IDEA of dresses more than I actually like wearing dresses, but this dress is actually amazing. I have noticed this year that I have literally nothing nice to wear to anything formal, so I've been keeping an eye out and I think this is really perfect! It's definitely something that can look casual, but could easily look really nice as well. It's slinky but still substantial, with the perfect slit. I thought it might look a bit matronly, but with the tie especially it accentuates my waist and has a great shape. The length is kind of a nice midi. I look incredibly Amish in anything maxi, and shorter dresses are too annoying to wear so this is perfect.

I bought this dress with summer and vacations in mind. The bamboo is so comfortable and the built-in ties make it a versatile outfit that can cinch in the waist or have a more relaxed and airy feel, particularly with the side slits. I'm 5'1" and the size small hits nicely mid-calf.
