I am a long time Free Label fan, particularly of their bras, so it's with regret that I'm writing a less than stellar review for one, but if you are contemplating the Becky, it's important to know that the underarms are cut very very high, which will make it super uncomfortable, maybe even unwearable, if you're like me. I purchased this along with an Andie and a Thompson, my usual go-tos, and measured the difference in cut between the Andie and the Becky to find there is a full three cm difference in the cut under the arms. It's significant and can definitely be felt. Hoping this review will prevent someone else from making the same mistake I did with this one. As there is no exchange policy for Free Label, my only option now is to pay to send back to return, and then pay to ship out a replacement. Not sure I want to spend $40 more on post to exchange, but don't have $100 to waste on an unwearable bra either.
Becky bra is hands down the best for us big-busted ladies. This is my 4th! I'm in love. Also, the basil color is gorgeous.
This is my first Becky and I love the color. I’ve found I prefer wearing with the scoop in the front, as the V side rides up a little too much for my comfort. I think I prefer my Andi and Dani’s, but if I were to get another Becky, I would definitely size down one.
I love my Becky bra. My photo is my older one (3ish years old) and my never been worn newer one. Both the same size
My older one is still relatively in good shape, a little faded and definitely stretched out, I did decided to buy a new one for a few reasons.
-My older one ( possibly my fault for washing in warm water *although I have always laid flat to dry* is starting to have pull/ wear marks ( little white threads in the shape of not so circular circles ) in certain spot which is noticeable right in front on both sides
-The compression and feeling secure is better in my newer bras - I do find that the other bras I wear less often from FL don't stretch out as much or as fast. My black Becky was the first of 7 FL bras that I own. The older one will still be worn for around the house not going out in public settings.
-The Price going up after this order. I had hoped that the bra would last longer than it did and it is worth every penny when it is new and for a year or 2, getting a newer one and being sure to wash it in cold water only will hopefully preserve it longer than the last one.
The thing I LOVE about Free Label is the sustainability, quality and thoughtfulness that are the foundation of this brand. This is my fifth Becky bra, because they are so comfortable and I have them in multiple colours and two sizes, one for when I want more coverage to wear on its own and one size for wearing under garments. The bamboo fabric is soft but retains its body and support. My oldest Beckys are a few years old and they are as comfortable and look almost new.
