Had some concerns about the crossing layers cutting into breast tissue but haven’t had the problem (DD-E cup). Comfy.
Very happy with the Sonny so far. I’m a medium in the Andie and Becky bras, and the Sonny in medium was perfect. I have to size up in the Dani style bra. The basil colour is amazing, a dark true green. All FL bras are a little tight at the beginning, wear them a few times and they will shape to your body!
The Sonny has become one of my main go-to bras. I think I wear it with the scoop side front more than the cross over, but it still gives me more of an open back, which is nice in the summer.
I really love the free label bamboo material, I’ve never found anything as good or comparable in bamboo for maintaining fit. However, I find this bra (and the Dani and Becky) too compressive. I don’t think it’s reasonable to say this is nursing friendly for that reason - I’m currently nursing and 34DD and the compression and the design of the v (sewn in at either side of the body) makes it too tight and awkward to nurse in. Can you do it? Yes. Is it comfortable or convenient? No. Perhaps if your bra was a few years broken in and relaxed (I’ve worn 5-6 times and washed once). I find the bands true to size but the cups aggressively tight. I’m hoping they’ll relax, as I think they look great, and maybe be a better compression level for the future when I’m not nursing.
I LOVE my Dani Bra, but I live in a very hot climate and wanted something that covered a little less. This works great. I have a 38inch bust and usually wear a M, but got this in a L so I can wear it throughout pregnancy. Fits now and should continue to work throughout all of the changes my body is going to go through.
