The lower cut in the armpits and back make this the perfect bra for me. It has just the right amount of compression and I love the colour!
I had tried the Dani bra before and found it too restrictive and compressive for me (I’m between a 30E and a 32DD). The Sonny is perfect! I got a medium and am very happy with the fit. This will be perfect for my low V neck tops, and has more room and flexibility than the Dani. The basil colour is a very dark forest green in person, which I love!
I like the Dani bra but always found I got way too sweaty in warmer months wearing it. This bra is the perfect solution for that problem! Very comfy and versatile. I sized up for a more relaxed fit. The colour is gorgeous.
start, I just want to preface this to say that I’ve only worn it once so far. But my initial thoughts are it’s high quality (like all the other bamboo bras) and well constructed. I liked the cross over style of the Dani, but as a A/B cup, I really didn’t need all that compression, so I thought this was a good option. Feels like it still provides enough compression for me. My only issue with it so far is the arm holes are a lot smaller and feel on the edge of being too tight (we’ll see how it goes after a few wears) and it’s quite long line for me as an A cup. I love the Andy bras for the cup depth and I’d love if they did some of the other styles (Dani, sonny, Thompson, cari) as shorter cup depth, but I know that would be difficult as a small business. Also, my white bamboo bras get armpit stains from my Deodorant, so I recommend going with a dark colour if you can. This isn’t to say I don’t recommend these bras, I just want to give a detailed review because they are quite the investment.
LOVE IT!
