Return Policy

We do not accept returns or exchanges on any discounted items, undies, or accessories like scrunchies or totes.

All Archive Sale products are final sale. No exchanges, refunds or rain checks.

To initiate a return for full price items, you must email customer care Jess at info@freelabel.com within 7 days of receiving your order for shipping instructions and a $15 flat fee return shipping label. Your garment must be in perfect new condition. Please follow the return instructions and do not send back without receiving shipping instructions. Returns must be posted within 5 days of receiving instructions.

We are unable to offer exchanges due to our small batch production; if you would like to exchange a size, colour, or style, we kindly ask that you make a new order for the garment, and follow the return instructions below to return the original order. All sale or discounted items are final sale. Note: we cannot not offer returns on any international orders at this time (outside of Canada & the US).

Please consider ecofriendly alternatives before sending back your return. We want to reduce your carbon footprint as much as we try to reduce ours and would love for us to work together on this :)

We have an amazing Facebook Group that allows you to Buy, Sell, and Trade your Free Label pieces: Free Label Buy, Sell Trade. We always suggest this as your first option before initiating a return because it lessens your carbon footprint! Instead of shipping it back to us you're able to ship it DIRECTLY to the next person who would've purchased it off our site. Plus the community in our BST group is unparallel - come meet your new internet bestie!

Quick tip: We also do monthly ISO (in-search-of) posts where folks note the Free Label garment they're searching for. Before returning a garment, you can peruse these threads to see if someone is looking for the very garment you're offloading! This is the fastest way to get the pieces that didn't work for you to their next loving home quickly.

All bodies are beautiful and diverse! This means an off the rack garment will never have a perfectly tailored fit since they are intended to fit as many people as possible. Another great - and often more affordable - option to returning is to bring your garment to a tailor. Forgo pricey return shipping and put that toward getting a pant hemmed, a waistband taken in, the options are endless! We make tailoring easy by including extra wide hems that can be let down when possible. Now you'll have a customized garment AND you'll be supporting your local seamstress or tailor.

If the best option for you is a return, we are pleased to help you! We are now partnering with Return Bear to provide $15 flat fee return labels for a hassle free return experience! To begin the process please email customer care Jess at info@freelabel.com and follow the clear instructions to complete your return.

We do not accept returns on discounted products. Merchandise must not have been worn, washed or altered, and must be in perfect-new condition. In an effort to reduce waste, please re-use the garment bag and mailer you received your parcel in and place garments in the same compostable bags they arrived in. Returned items will be refunded excluding the original cost of shipping and the cost of the return label. We can not cover the cost of return shipping at this time.

Once your return has been received and it complies with our return policy, we will refund you using the original payment method. The refund will be processed within 5 business days. Your bank or credit card company may take up to 5 additional business days to return the funds to your account. Please wait this time before you contact us with an outstanding refund.
