Still to come for Spring

One of my themes of 2026 is incorporating a little more *whimsy* into my day to day. I don't know if this was prompted by becoming a parent or in response to the darkness that is infiltrating the world, but part of my whimsy journey is dressing up for fun.

I'm often inspired by my daughter who - without fail - tells me she wants to wear a dress every single morning. Rain, snow or shine, the request is to wear a dress. Not just any dress either. I may suggest a practical t-shirt dress... absolutely unacceptable. It must be her large sparkly tulle dress with hearts and Minnie Mouse. Needless to say, she is unapologetically living in her whimsy (and I'm doing a lot of laundry to sustain it).

My whimsical dressing is a little more pragmatic, but it does feature a similar amount of twirlability.
