A tariff is a tax or a levy placed on the importer of a product. This means if your country is imposing tariffs, you - the customer and importer of the product - will be taxed directly.

We manufacture all of our garments proudly in Canada and ship out of our Canadian west coast fulfillment center. If you are a Canadian buying our product, you will not have to pay any duties or tariffs. If you are purchasing our product from outside of Canada, you will be responsible for the duties and tariff's collected by your country during import. Please note: we are not responsible for the duties and tariff's collected by your country during import, and we don't have the ability to refund these costs even if your order is returned.

As of right now, what we know about the Canada-USA tariffs is that due to the yarn forward rule in the CUSMA agreement, even Canadian made clothing is not exempt from 35% tariffs. Since Canada does not have a yarn spinning industry, and US and Mexican yarns are few and far between, we are not able to comply with CUSMA to avoid hefty tariffs despite using Canadian MILLED fabric with imported yarns.

As of August 29th, the de minimis exemption is no longer in place, meaning an order of any size is subject to clearance fees, tariffs and import taxes. Unfortunately, we do not have the infrastructure to comply with these new regulations, so we will be pausing all USA shipments after August 24th for the foreseeable future.

Update: All USA orders are paused until further notice.

This can change at any moment so please check back!

If we get more information we will update this page! Thank you for your patience and understanding!
