Introducing the Alicia Short! A limited edition collaboration between Free Label and influencer Alicia Mccarvell. Made from our custom bamboo fabric in a rich steely blue, these shorts are designed with a high-rise waistband, 7 3/4" inseam, and did we mention - giant pockets?! They're perfect for everyday wear - walking, under skirts to avoid chaffing or lounging around. Like all Free Label products they are designed, knit and sewn in Canada.

Model Details:

Daniella is 5'5.5" with a 44" bust, 36" waist and 51" hip and is wearing size XL.
Tagnéa is 5'10 with a 36" bust, 30" waist and 42.5" hip and is wearing size M.
Jess is 5'8 with a 39" bust, 32" waist and 44" hip and is wearing size L.
Alicia has a 49" bust, 44" waist and 58" hip and is wearing size 2X (could also wear 3X)

Stretch Size Chart

Use this size chart for styles made with Bamboo, Lyocell, Supima cotton, or any other fabric with stretch.

Many customers are able to wear multiple sizes depending on the desired fit. For example, you may fall under the medium category, but choose a size large for an oversized look, or size small for a more fitted look. Our custom bamboo should be snug at first. It will relax up to half a size with body heat and wear, and mould to your unique shape. Once washed in cold water the fabric will tighten back up a bit.

Anti-bacterial, breathable and durable. Our technical bamboo is custom knit and dyed in Toronto, Canada exclusively for Free Label. It is buttery soft to the touch and has a substantial and thick (yet breathable) weight. Standard 100 OEKO-TEX® certified.

Less but better. That's our motto.

Please note: we ship our Canadian made product from Canada. USA and International orders may be subject to additional taxes, duties and tariffs at the border, which are the sole responsibility of the buyer to pay.

CANADA: FREE SHIPPING on orders over $200. For smaller orders the cost of shipping is calculated at check out via Canada Post expedited parcel with a tracking number.
USA: Due to the US government's removal of the de minimis exemption, our last day to accept US orders was August 24th, 2025. As of now, US shipping will be unavailable until further notice.
INTERNATIONAL: The cost of shipping is calculated at check out via International Airmail (typically 6-13 business days).

We do not accept returns or exchanges on any discounted items, undies, or accessories like scrunchies or totes.

All Archive Sale products are final sale. No exchanges, refunds or rain checks.

To initiate a return for full price items, you must email customer care Jess at info@freelabel.com within 7 days of receiving your order for shipping instructions and a $15 flat fee return shipping label. Your garment must be in perfect new condition. Please follow the return instructions and do not send back without receiving shipping instructions. Returns must be posted within 5 days of receiving instructions.

The best ever

Best ever bike shorts. I loved the Sarah shorts and these are even better because FUNCTIONAL POCKETS. I wear an XL (waist 41”/hip 52”) and they are great for life, bikes, and lifting weights (or anything I do!). More please, FL

Best 'bike' shorts

Love the compressive fit. Love the colour (ink). Love the deep pockets. I have used them for yoga/pilates and not had any issues with the shorts sliding down.
I'm a 36in waist, 40in hips and I got the size M.

Even better bike shorts!

I have a pair of Navy Sarah shorts from the first season and I have worn them close to death, so I was very excited to see the release of the Alicia short in Ink. I ordered a size down (2X) from my usual size (3X) to get a bit more of a compressive fit, and they are just perfect. I LOVE the pockets, the bamboo is as perfect as ever, and the colour is richer and deeper than navy, but only a slight change. I don't think I could go back to the Sarah short now that I've got these massive deep pockets. The pockets don't change the slim fit of the short so I'll still be able to wear these babies under dresses without any bulk. I'll probably order another pair later in the spring/summer. Slam dunk free label!
