FABRICS & CARE

FABRICS

TECHNICAL BAMBOO | 85% Bamboo rayon / 15% Spandex

This technical Bamboo is custom knit and dyed locally in Toronto, Canada exclusively for Free Label.  It is butter soft to the touch and has a substantial and thick (yet breathable) weight. Standard 100 OEKO-TEX® certified.

SUPIMA COTTON | 100% USA Grown Supima Cotton

This American grown, extra-long staple cotton is custom knit and dyed locally in Toronto, Canada exclusively for Free Label. This cotton is ultra durable and soft, making it the perfect material for your long lasting basics. Standard 100 OEKO-TEX® certified.

ECO-WOVEN BLEND | 35% Cupro / 35% Linen / 30% Tencel

We sourced this unique fabric in Montreal, Canada. It takes our three favorite eco-friendly woven fabrics and combines it into one luxurious textile. Cupro is an ethical alternative to silk, Linen is organic and biodegradable, and Tencel is made in a closed loop system and is biodegradable. Mid-weight, ultra silky, wrinkle resistant, and durable, this blend is unlike any you've tried before. Standard 100 OEKO-TEX®.

CUSTOM LINEN | 100% Flax Linen

We work with an eco-certified mill in China to custom weave our Linen. We use a beautiful flax linen grown in France, then dyed and woven in China. Our linen is different because its slightly heavier than a typical summer linen, is more resistant to pilling, and is not pre-shrunk, meaning you can create your own custom fit. Wash cold and hang to dry to keep the fit, or use the dryer to shrink the fit slightly. Standard 100 OEKO-TEX® certified.

LYOCELL KNIT | 66% Lyocell, 28% Organic Cotton, 6% Spandex

This smooth knit fabric is as sustainable as it is substantial and soft. Lyocell is made in a closed loop system and is a biodegradable fabric. Plus its insanely comfortable. Standard 100 OEKO-TEX® and GOTS certified.

CARE

Less but better. That's our motto. Our garments are made by hand with care. This results in a high quality garment. That being said, knit garments require just as much love and care throughout their lifetime. This means always washing in cold water with like fabrics and hanging to dry.  We do not recommend using a dryer or heat on your Free Label garments.
Some fabrics like our Supima Cotton and Linen can be tumble dried, but we still recommend line drying when possible to be kind to the earth.

Comfy and supportive

I ordered the XL as a 36D and the fit is perfect. Love the length and level of compression.

Good

I ordered the 4x as the measurements matched perfectly to my own but the cups weren’t deep enough. Not enough support or cup depth to allow me to wear this out under clothing. I also found the arms holes to be cut a little too high. Overall comfortable and I would buy again as it’s a decent fit overall and better than I’ve found elsewhere. Hopefully as I lose weight the cups fit better. Also, for the price I would have liked free shipping.

Love!!

New to the brand I bought two bras and I'm in love! As a 34G, finding bralettes that fit is not the easiest. But the Becky, and the Dani, fit great! Super comfortable and surprisingly supportive. I've not wanted to take them off!
Will definitely be looking to purchase some more!

Comfy as all heck

Comfortable bra with surprising support. No issues with pain in shoulders or band as compared to many underwire bras. What you lose in breast definition and lift from more engineered bras, you more than make up for in compression and all-day comfort.

If you're more apple-shaped and want this as a crop-top, you may want to size up to reduce the band rolling, but you'd sacrifice a bit of support. I bought true-to-size and when wearing as a crop just tug a bit.

***Also: the black bamboo fabric seems to have less stretch compared to other colours, so you'll get more compression.***

My regular bra size is 36 G, with very soft, full breast tissue, and asymmetry. My size in Free Label Bras: Andie and Becky - L, Dani - XL.

Comfortable with moderate support

I wanted to be blown away by this bra based on some reviews I read, but it may just not be the best/right style for me. I am 5’6” with approximately 42H bra size and got the 3X. It feels both slightly too compressed (breathing is slightly affected) and also a bit too loose, so it may not be the right size in this style; however, that’s not the fault of the manufacturer! It’s soft and thick without being too ‘heavy’ or bulky. I find it a bit long in the sense that the band sits too close to my waistline for my liking. Overall, not my favourite but I may try another size in this or another style because the quality is fantastic!
