I love Free Label bras so much. I have a very large chest and thought underwire was the only way I could get shape and support. After finding Free Label during the pandemic I’ve never worn underwire again and it has been such. a. gift. There’s no need to rush home and change while wearing FL, you just feel comfortable and supported all day.
I love how the Sonny is reversible and wear both ways: the side I think of as “the Dani side” gets most wear and provides separation but the scoop side gets a lot of wear too. The armholes are lower than the Dani which I appreciate in the warmer months.
My usual size is 2X but I have a shoulder injury and went up a size to help with easier on/off, and somehow the 3X is perfect too.

Wonderful, stretchy, soft, cooling. I tend to wear my Sonny bras backwards because I find they provide me with more coverage and more support that way; I'm a larger cup size than the L recommended for the top end of the range, which means that wearing the Sonny as designed can be a bit precarious!
There's a note somewhere on the Free Label site that lighter colours of bras may be stretchier and therefore seem a bit less supportive, and I definitely notice this with the white Sonny bra. I bought this in the same size as I bought my first Sonny bra, in a turquoise colour a couple of years ago. The turquoise colour is definitely more supportive than the white, despite being older. The turquoise Sonny, I will wear out in public in a casual or lightly active context, but I think I will only wear the white Sonny at home.
I have far from perfect breasts. They are naturally droopy and size DD. But this bra has been perfect for me to come to terms with my body. Having to wear the smaller side of the criss-cross under my (right) breast makes this bra extremely comfortable. There is no longer skin-to-skin contact where sweat and bacteria can linger. It is not the best “déshabillé” look, but with a shirt over it, you can’t tell. The comfort of this bra is insane. I may be lucky since I have not had any of the problems that others describe in their comments. And THANK YOU for daring to present unconventional models in your publications.
Super comfortable and soft on skin. I love that it’s reversible too. Breathable fabric keeps me fresh even although the humidity is crazy right now. Love this 🙌
