INK BAMBOO LORETTA PANT

I am happy to have found this local Vancouver company. The fit and fabric of the Loretta Pant is what I've been searching for. I have 42" waist and decided on XL which the size guide shows as 38-41" waist. Fits really well. For me, I feel the 2X would have felt too loose. I am 5"3" so length was shortened 3". I am short waisted so with the 17" rise, the waistband does sit above my natural waist but I can opt to pull it down a tad, and have a looser crotch. Very pleased.

The Lorettas are amazing and really elevates the with polish. I've gotten tons of compliments wearing them when I basically put in zero effort in my outfit lol. It's super swishy and flowy, the perfect width IMO. The waistband is surprisingly comfortable. I am 5'5 and hemmed it as it looks a little nicer at ankle length. As I always say to people, FL custom milled bamboo is different from your typical bamboo rayon that pills easily. There's noticeable quality difference and longevity, and I wear my FL pants all the time.

So I bought the bamboo loretta pants in the ink colour at the archive sale thinking these pants may not be all they have cracked up to be. Was I ever wrong!!! When you wear these pants you will feel like THAT girl. They are drapey, stylish, and insanely comfortable. I wear them to the office with flats or heeled booties. I wear them at home to lounge. I wear them with a tee shirt or an oversized denim shirt for play time with my kids. Plus ink is the most perfect colour. Deep, beautiful, and more interesting than a standard navy! Would love to see these in more colours though (I miss syrah!) and maybe a little longer inseam for us taller girlies :)

It took me a while before I finally tried the Lorettas, but now that I have a pair they have become my go-to work-to-casual pant (even more than the Mondays or the Billie lounge pants). The soft drapey material and elastic waistband are perfect for days when you have to go in to work but just want to be comfortable and they pair with a button-down top or a sweatshirt just as easily. I know see why they're such a staple at FL :) Also, as a pet owner, the bamboo is GREAT for not attracting pet hair. I just need to give them a shake or a quick brush-down with my hand they are good to go.
