I love the color, softness of fabric, thoughtful design, and the brand and heart behind it. A couple of things to note about the design: there is a piece of clear elastic (plastic?) sewn into the band—this may be there for the stretch needed, but note that it does make contact with your skin—and the hardware is plastic rather than metal, the latter of which I felt might offer greater strength and longevity to the garment. Otherwise, after hearing it recommended several times for bustier types, I finally got one to try out and do love and wear it often! For reference, last I was measured I was somewhere between a 30DDD and a 32DD, then two pregnancies and two years of breastfeeding later felt drawn to bras that can accomodate fluctuation while offering comfort and support—a size medium Carrie bra does just that.
Free Label males the best bras ever! They were one of the first slow fashion brands I purchased from years ago and I'm a continuous customer, and always reccomend them to other people. The signature bamboo spandex material makes it extremely comfortable and stretchy, while being supportive and compressive, without it being uncomfortable or suffocating. And the longevity and ease of taking care of the material, these bras last for years. Depending on your preferences, you could size up or down, but it does take some time to break in. The Carrie bra has adjustable straps, but I find the metal loops a little difficult to move. Ive ordered both the large and medium sizes. The sizing is normally spot on, but I find that the large has stretched out too much under the armpits, while every where else is ok. And the medium felt a little more difficult to break in, the band tighter than expected. Band size - 34 inches, Bust Size - 42 inches
I was intrigued by Free Label. The survey recommended the Carrie Bra for me. At first I was disappointed as I definitely would not wear this bra as a regular bra as it compresses your chest (although they say overtime it will mould to your body). I buy my bras from a specialty shop that personally fits you with an appropriate bra. As a lounge bra, the Carrie Bra is the most comfortable and supportive bra I have ever worn. YOU may notice the Carrie Bra compresses your chest, but under clothes it kinda hides it plus it truly is supportive. I love that I can adjust the straps. I am 61, under 5 feet and 115 pounds - I bought a medium. I have worn an underwire my entire life and yet this bra still feels supportive. I will still buy the specialty, supportive bra for everyday use to look more natural but once I am home, i am super happy to put on the Carrie Bra. It is so comfortable and I don't feel like I am sacrificing in support. Boobs always sag as we age, but the Carrie Bra won't be the reason! I am glad I decided to keep the bra.
Free label bras have become my staple. This is my second Carrie bra purchase. I panicked bought it as they can no longer ship to the US. Heartbroken but the quality is excellent, it’s comfortable, i love it. I imagine it will last a long time. I previously ordered a size down and I like that for a more fitted, lifted fit. Although it was a bit too tight below my chest. So i sized up to the XL to have a bit more ease for me through the rib cage. Two sizes work for me!
