Visual size guide
This is my 2nd Dani bra and I’ll continue to buy these for life. I have wide DD breasts that are fairly unhappy in most other bras, but quite happy and supported in my Dani’s!! The bamboo fabric is great quality, sweat absorbent, and feels like it’ll handle a few years (at least) of daily, consistent wear. Thank you Free Label for creating my favorite bra! I’m so glad I found you! (And happy bonus points for being made in Canada!!)
For reference, I am a 42J and ordered a 2X. I probably could have gone up to a 3X but I was familiar with the fit, size and compression of a well-worn 2X. I tend to wear it "backward" with the high neck for compression and comfortability. If you prefer the look of the low v-neck definitely get the size up so it covers you better!
This is my second ever FL bra, and my first Dani. I bought the Carrie originally and loved it, so I wanted to try a different style and considered sizing down for more support. I'm really glad I didn't, as while the Dani is very comfortable, it took longer for it to break in. The result is a comfortable yet surprisingly supportive bra.
These are really, really well made. Normally I am a hater of bamboo fabric (aka rayon or viscose), because no matter what I do I find it stretches out uncomfortably. I always hand wash my bras in cool water, and I've had no issues with the bra stretching out too much over time. It does relax a bit with wear, but it snaps right back into shape after a wash and line dry.
I've included a photo with my fresh out of the package new pair of undies in the same colour, because I wanted to show how well the colour has lasted over eight months of consistent wear. Yeah, you can see my deodorant stains because it's between washes, but hopefully the image shows just how well the colour still matches fresh, never worn undies in the same colour.
Finally, if you're reading this and wondering if you should bite the bullet, I recommend getting a professional bra fitting if you're unsure about the size chart. And no, not a mall brand, but a genuine professional bra fitter (or use a really comprehensive guide online). I used my Understance (rip) size and both bras fit perfectly, but I've noticed some reviews of folks with similar breast size to me who got a different size and were disappointed. I promise it's worth the extra faff, with all bras not just FL bras :)
A good amount of support for this bra style
