when I took the bra quiz (so helpful!) and browsed around, I found the tank top version and decided to try it in ink. Okay first of all it's pretty functional as a tank top with a built in bra, especially when worn surplice bodice forward, but if you want a high necked tank with back interest, it checks out! so this top lets me declutter *two* tank tops and a pullover bra from my drawers!
I tried it out for three different outfits and it's so functional. I can wear it for my yoga/pilates/mobility and it's great in the high-necked style under a blazer for warm weather elevated casual and surplice style for structured trousers and a necklace or small scarf. A winner. I returned to buy *another* one in black, and i'm going to keep checking back for new colours!
I’m a huge fan of the Dani bra and tank. (I’ve had 5 bras and this is my second tank). The light fabrics feel very different than the dark ones. This feels way thinner and looser than my black tank top of the same size. I wish I had sized down.
Perfect for postpartum!
I bought the Cocoa Dani bra 3 years ago while searching for a nursing bra that actually fit, gave easy access, was comfortable and was made with more natural materials. It’s the only bra I’ve found since and have also purchased more for my second round of breastfeeding (and beyond). This is why I purchased the Dani tank as well and so far I have worn it most days in early postpartum. The fabric is incredible and the only material my sore body can tolerate. I did size up to a 2x from my usual xl due to reviews, and my black Dani bra felt a bit too tight in late pregnancy, but I’m not sure I needed to size up for the tank. Even if is a bit large, it’s still perfection. I will wear these Dani bras and tanks forever - please never stop making them!
I love this top...got it in both Ink and Ballet. It's extremely well made and fits so comfortably. When worn with the v-neck in the front the cut is higher on me than on the models, though I prefer it like that (size L).
The only thing I would recommend is ordering maybe one size up because it was quiet tight the first time I put it on. But it looks really good on me!!!
