Closet Reset Day 1 | Full Closet Assessment
Day 1 is about getting clear about every item in your closet so that you only keep things you want to reach for. You’ll identify what works for you and what’s no longer serving you. Set aside some time for yourself. Turn it into a sacred event rather than a chore; brew a cup of tea and play some tunes. Whatever makes this experience feel more enjoyable.
STEP #1: Pull out every item in your wardrobe (this includes your closet, dresser, hooks, piles, laundry, etc.)
STEP #2: Go through every item and place into one of three piles:

The Transformation Pile is your "grey area" pile. You want to make thoughtful decisions without going back and forth if you made the right choice. Go with your gut. Anything you feel unsure about can go into the Transformation Pile. We’ll get to that later.
STEP #3: Once you’ve gone through all your clothes, you can start to put your Keep Pile back into your closet. Again, take as long as you need to. Think about what’s going to be the easiest and most functional way for you to organize your clothes. Can you group certain pieces together? What do you reach for most often? And now you should have a lot more space to work with!
STEP #4: Set aside everything in your Transformation and Goodbye Pile so that it's out of the way. We'll get to both of these tomorrow.
