The feel and stretch of Free Label Technical Bamboo is unmatched. It is both silky and soft, and allows for optimal movement. Technical Bamboo is a great active fabric due to it's breathable and quick-dry nature. Garments constructed with Technical Bamboo maintain their shape, hand-feel and brilliance after many washes, helping to keep your clothing like new for longer. Like our Supima Cotton, Free Label Technical Bamboo is knit, dyed, cut, and sewn locally in Toronto, Canada just for Free Label. This gives us the flexibility to customize our bamboo to the perfect weight and colour. Certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

Supima Cotton is one of our favorite t-shirt fabrics. The crop is grown in the USA, meaning the raw materials are easier to trace and don't have to travel as far for production. Supima is an extra long staple fiber, which gives it incredible durability, longevity and a silky hand feel. We knit and dye our Supima Cotton custom just for Free Label, locally in Toronto, Canada. The weight of our Supima is heavy enough to maintain some structure, but still light enough to drape beautifully. Each wear and wash softens the fabric, making it one of the few knits that get better with age. Resistant to pilling and fading, Supima Cotton will be quickly become your new favorite fabric too. Lyocell - also known by it's brand name "Tencel" - is the ultimate eco-friendly knit fabric. Made from sustainably harvested eucalyptus trees, and manufactured in a closed loop system, Lyocell recovers and recycles over 99% of the chemicals used to produce this fiber. It is silky soft to the touch, super durable, and easy to take care of. In blending Lyocell with organic cotton and spandex, our Lyocell knit is super soft, stretchy and comfortable for all activities. Certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

Woven

Linen is one of the most eco-friendly fabrics - it is easy to grow, doesn't require a lot of resources and biodegrades quickly when composted. For all these reasons and more we love to use linen in our summer collections. Our mid-weight and super sturdy linen is custom milled in China at our eco-certified partner mill from flax linen yarn grown in France. We chose to custom produce our linen to determine the perfect weight and structure for durability, drape and longevity. Certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. Learn more here.

The durability and strength of a structured cotton twill, but with added coziness through the brushing process. Our Brushed Cotton Twill is mid-heavy weight and oh so soft. With each wear the cotton relaxes and molds to your shape but tightens back up between wears for an easy fit. This fabric is sourced in the USA from a family owned company that's been in business nearly half a century. They really know cotton.

Did you know that Lyocell and Tencel are the same fabric? Tencel is simply the brand name of Lyocell fabric. Our woven Tencel is custom woven in China at our eco-certified partner mill. Tencel is made from sustainably harvested eucalyptus trees, and manufactured in a closed loop system. Lyocell recovers and recycles over 99% of the chemical used to produce this fiber. Our woven Tencel is a silk soft, non-stretch, slightly textured twill. It's a mid-weight fabric, which helps combat wrinkling while maintaining a nice drape, and it is a nice weight for all seasons. More than that , Lyocell is biodegradable. Guilt free luxury. Certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

Our Stretch Cotton Twill is mid-heavy weight, feels substantial and high quality, but with the flexibility of stretch to accomodate different shapes and proportions. This fabric is sourced in the USA from a family owned company that's been in business nearly half a century. They really know cotton.

Milled in Japan to the highest standard, we selected this luxurious organic cotton not only for the striking plaid pattern directly woven into the fabric, but because one side is brushed for a supremely cozy feel. This stunning fabric is mid-weight for and effortless flow and out manufacturing partners did a wonderful job cutting and sewing the pieces so the patterns match up perfectly for a seamless fit.

The durability and strength of a structured denim, but with a touch of stretch. Our stretch denim is mid-heavy weight and oh so soft. With each wear the denim relaxes and molds to your shape.
